The lawsuit was settled after three days of trial in Johnson It was brought on behalg ofthe husband, children and parents of Rhonda who was killed on 11, 2008, when oil field equipment fell off a tractor-trailerr and crushed her vehicle. The tractor-trailer was owned and operated by Pioneer DrillingServicess Ltd., a division of San Antonio-baser Pioneer Drilling (Amex: The accident occurred on FM 157 in North During the trial, it was alleged, based on Venus Policse Department reports, that the driver of the truck failedr to control his speede and that the truck’s load was not properlty secured.
